David will tell us about life as an illustrator in Ireland and the process behind creating a graphic novel from the first idea to publication of the finished work.
He will also share some techniques for drawing your own illustrations, using St. Brigid as a subject.
David Butler is an illustrator, animator and film maker from Co. Kildare. He has illustrated several books and graphic novels, including Michael Collins: An Irish Rebel, Shackleton – The Voyage of the James Caird and Do Fish Wear Pyjamas? The Quest for the Great Book of Kildare
