Antarctic Affair is the first book from eighty-seven year old, Fergus O’ Gorman. Fergus travelled to the Antarctic in 1957, following in the footsteps of two other well known Irishman, Ernest Shackleton and Tom Crean. The book recalls the journey of a lifetime and is a vivid read, full of poignant life and death stories of Fergus’ three years down South.
